LaBrea Nelson, LCSW
I work with teens, young adults, and adults who appear high-functioning on the outside but feel constant internal pressure. Many of the people I support struggle with perfectionism, social anxiety, school or work-related stress, and people-pleasing or over-responsibility.
My work focuses on helping clients reduce anxiety, build healthy boundaries, and learn how to show up in their lives without tying their worth to performance or approval.

our values
Whole-Person Care
We believe healing isn’t one-dimensional. We consider your emotions, relationships, environment, stress level, personal history, and strengths — not just your symptoms. Our goal is to help you feel more grounded and supported in everyday life, with tools that fit who you are and what you’re carrying.
Respect for Individual Worth
Every person who walks through our doors deserves dignity, empathy, and genuine respect. We create a space where you can show up as you are — without shame, judgment, or pressure to “perform.” You are more than your anxiety, your mistakes, or what others expect from you. We honor your voice, your boundaries, and your pace.
Faith-Informed Wisdom
For clients who want it, we offer a faith-informed approach that honors spiritual values as a source of strength and direction. Faith is never forced and never assumed — it is always client-led. We integrate faith with care in a way that is respectful, thoughtful, and aligned with professional ethics.
Integrity & Clinical Excellence
We take your care seriously. That means using evidence-informed practices, staying current in training, and being thoughtful and honest about what helps. We hold high standards for professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical care — and we communicate clearly so you always understand what we’re doing and why.
Family & Community Strength
We believe growth happens in connection. Whether we’re working with a teen, an adult, or a family, we consider the relationships and systems around you — because those dynamics matter. We support healthier communication, stronger boundaries, and more secure relationships, while recognizing that each person in the family plays a meaningful role in change.
